Thought Created Separate Realities

You can be sitting in the same room with someone looking at the same view and experiencing separate realities. Compassion for the other person’s reality is the way to not feel separated in this shared space.

This has always been true. Being isolated together has only heightened your experience of this. A way to move towards a better understand is to ask the other person to “share what you’re experiencing with me.” That phrase alone is very disarming.

It’s a statement that you’re acknowledging sharing something together. If they share something critical towards you or your way of being, see it as an opportunity to be vulnerable and open with the way you’re feeling as well. It’s rooted in the same place.
